Of course the beer of today is the grand daddy of European stout - Guinness. Why? Because I am in Dublin on a business trip. I think we are going to get finished in time to go on a tour of the brewery before we have to fly home!
Guinness is good for you and it is truly outstanding stout. Drink responsibly.

Welcome to the all new, all signing and all viking “beer of the day” blog. This is the mad ramblings of a beer viking and sometime functioning, but always making fun beer-o-holic.
Today’s beer is the very tasty St Peter’s Best Bitter. The official brewery site is here, btw.
This is a truely outstanding bitter. One of the finest in the land of QEII for sure. A rich smoky yet smooth taste with plenty of hops and oak thrown in to keep you wide awake!
You can buy this beer, if you live in the UK and of legal drinking age, at Waitrose, some OddBins and perhaps at the St Peter’s online shop. If you live outside of the UK I have no idea how you can obtain this fine beer. It may be easier to fly over and meet The Beer Viking at Borough Market for a tour.
